The world-famous Neuschwanstein Castle is only half an hour away, but the Linderhof and Hohenschwangau castles are also around the corner. Or how about a visit to the sparkling underground Chambers of Wonder at the Swarovski Crystal Worlds in Wattens? The Bavarian metropolis of Munich can also be easily reached from Lermoos by train. Mine ores like the miners once did in the Knappenwelt open-air mining museum in Tarrenz, or follow in the footsteps of Ötzi, the Neolithic glacier mummy in Umhausen. Summer in the mountains of Tyrol is packed with adventure, discovery, and fun! Breathe in the fresh mountain air. Wade into the rushing streams. Build a dam. Climb rocks. Clamber up the foothills. Track an animal. Discover a secret waterfall. You will find all this and more in the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena.
How about a ride on the longest summer toboggan run in Tyrol? A climbing session at the rope course in Bichlbach? Whiz down the slopes on a monster scooter, mountain scooter, or mountain cart. And there are fascinating hikes, such as Moosle’s research trail, Moosle’s magic forest, the Biberfad, and the “Zugspitzi” water adventure trail on the Gaisbach, waiting to be discovered by inquisitive junior researchers and adventurous water nymphs.
Llama hikes, archery on the 3D archery course, and the petting zoo in Bichlbach. And a special highlight: The panoramic outdoor swimming pool in Lermoos, which you can enjoy for free. There’s also an adventure playground just 3 minutes away from the Felsenheim, and a trampoline and ping pong in our garden. Our large playroom and the pool tables in the basement round off the available activities.
