Traditional Austrian cuisine with a modern twist

Our weekly house dinner

Community, cuisine, enjoyment. That’s what awaits you at our dinner evenings. A relaxed 3-course menu prepared with the bounty that nature and our farmers provide. Our open kitchen makes it feel like a pleasant evening with friends, where everyone can get involved. Good food, good wines, and good people – what more could you want? We also welcome guests who are not staying at Ansitz Felsenheim by prior reservation.

In the immediate vicinity of our castle hotel there are also several restaurants, whether traditional Austrian, international or vegetarian, which we can recommend. We would be happy to reserve a table for you.

Eine Frau und ein Mann

Uncomplicated. Delicious. For sharing.

Italian-style pizza night

Once a week, the smell of freshly baked pizza dough, tomatoes, and herbs fills the air at Felsenheim.
As a small tribute to our neighboring country Italy, we invite you to a cozy pizza evening.

Our pizzas come fresh from the oven and straight to the table, one after the other. Enjoy tasting them together, laughing together, and discovering new favorites. Of course, a fresh seasonal salad and homemade tiramisu are also a must.
Uncomplicated, convivial, and full of flavor—just like an evening in a small trattoria somewhere between Tuscany and South Tyrol.

Ein Koch mit einer Schürze schneite Kräuter.
Schwammerl werden in einer Pfanne angebraten.
Ein Teller voller Essen mit eine roten Paprika, darunter ist Kartoffelbrei und Pilze.

Our monthly culinary event. Created with passion. Prepared with love.

Benedikt started his career in the hospitality industry in 2009 with an apprenticeship in Filzmoos under Johanna Maier, then the most renowned chef in Austria. After his apprenticeship Benedikt spread his wings, aiming to broaden his horizons. For several years, he worked in the culinary metropolises of Europe: Munich (Pfister Mühle), London (The Clove Club), and Copenhagen (AOC), before returning home.

His vision was to make his culinary mark in the Felsenheim too. He wanted to create something for everyone who wants to celebrate indulgence and the good things in life. Bene wanted to inspire them with his philosophy of what makes food great. But the Felsenheim was nothing more than an apartment building and had neither a kitchen nor a restaurant. It took a lot of persuasion and persistence to convince his parents, but in 2022, they opened the new dining room with an open kitchen.

Respect for nature and our local produce, supporting small-scale alpine farming, biodiversity, and creativity are the bedrock of our contemporary cuisine.

We cook genuinely, ambitiously, and with a clear conscience. We are inquisitive and cosmopolitan, and we want to demonstrate what the season, our region, and our culinary tradition have to offer.

Come dine with us – it’s something to look forward to.

The best parties are always in the kitchen.

Not only for house guests

Of course, guests who are not staying at the hotel can also enjoy the Supper Club. Please make a reservation at reception@felsenheim.at or by telephone. +43 664 4808213
